The Tools Life Never Taught You.
Nobody taught most of us how to communicate effectively, navigate conflict, regulate emotions, build healthy relationships, process trauma, or maintain intimacy over time.
Yet somehow, we were expected to know.
At Junction Therapy Group, we believe many of the struggles people face aren't because they're broken, weak, or incapable. More often, they're navigating life's most important relationships and challenges without ever being given the tools, education, or support needed to do so successfully.

That's where we come in.
Junction Therapy Group was built to help people understand themselves more deeply, build healthier relationships, heal from trauma, and develop the practical skills needed to create lasting change.
Because insight is important, but insight alone isn't enough.
Real growth happens when understanding is paired with action.

OUR MISSION + VISION
Our mission is to help people build healthier relationships with themselves, others, and the world around them by providing practical, trauma-informed, and evidence-based therapy that creates meaningful and sustainable change.
We believe therapy should be accessible, honest, collaborative, and rooted in real life, not just theory.
Our goal is not simply symptom reduction.
Our goal is helping people function better, connect more deeply, and live more intentionally.
We envision a world where emotional education, relationship skills, and mental health support are not reserved for moments of crisis.
A world where people understand how trauma impacts behavior, how relationships influence wellbeing, and how emotional skills can be learned just like any other skill.
We are building more than a therapy practice.
We're building a place where people can learn what should have been taught in the first place.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Elizabeth Melchione
Founder | Therapist | Veteran | Educator
Junction Therapy Group was founded by Elizabeth Melchione, a therapist, veteran, educator, and advocate for practical mental health and relationship education.
Throughout her career, Elizabeth noticed a common theme among clients from all backgrounds.
People weren't struggling because they lacked intelligence, motivation, or effort.
They were struggling because they were trying to navigate complex systems; relationships, careers, parenthood, trauma, communication, emotional regulation, identity, and adulthood itself; without ever having been taught how.
That realization became the foundation for Junction Therapy Group.
Elizabeth specializes in relationship dynamics, trauma, PTSD, attachment, emotional regulation, communication, sexuality, and life transitions. Her approach combines clinical expertise with a grounded understanding of what it means to be human.
As a veteran, wife, mother, therapist, and lifelong learner, Elizabeth understands that growth is rarely linear and that healing requires both compassion and accountability.
Her goal is simple:
To create a space where people feel understood, challenged, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.

LET'S START WHERE YOU ARE
You don't need to have it all figured out before reaching out.
You don't need the perfect words.
You don't need to wait until things get worse.
You simply need a place to start.
And that's what Junction is here for.
Because the skills that change your life can be learned.
